The Government of India has amended the pension rules 2020 to bar the officers of Security Agencies and Intelligence and other sensitive departments from publishing any information regarding the domain of the organization in which they have worked. Gazette Notification regarding this amendment rule is published on 31.05.2021. Prior to publishing the domain of the organization, it is required to get clearance from the Head of Departments’, otherwise; the pension may either be withheld or withdrawn. Officers of these sensitive departments have to submit an undertaking in a prescribed format that no information would be shared without prior permission of the Head of Department.
